If your student is absent, please submit parent and/or doctor notes to Mrs. Martinez at joann.martinez@taylorisd.org. 

Families may submit up to three parent notes per semester.

From photos and laughs to watching the sun come up alongside friends, it was a sweet way to celebrate the beginning of their last year at Legacy.

We earned a 96 overall rating, A ratings in all three accountability domains, and three state distinction designations from the Texas Education Agency!  A well-deserved recognition for a State Champion!

Taylor ISD’s Rylen Darter was recognized by the Williamson County Commissioners Court today with a proclamation celebrating her incredible achievements on the golf course and in the classroom!

As a freshman, Rylen captured the 2026 UIL Class 4A Girls Individual State Championship, winning by seven strokes and posting the third-best score in UIL state tournament history. She also won 10 tournament championships, was named the All-Central Texas Girls Golfer of the Year, and placed 5th out of 228 competitors at the Girls High School Golf National Invitational at Pinehurst. 

Rylen attends Legacy Early College High School, where she maintains straight-A grades while earning college credit.

Congratulations, Rylen! We’re proud to see your hard work and accomplishments recognized across Williamson County!
